When people think of Canadian thrash, their minds automatically drift to the likes of Voivod and Annihilator, I mean, it’s only natural right? Flick off this topsoil and dig below and you’ll find Sacrifice and this year has High Roller Records reissuing Sacrifice’s 1987 sophomore album ‘Forward to Termination’ on vinyl.

This album saw Sacrifice continue to batter forward and to celebrate this fact, High Roller Records are going all out with this reissue. Firstly, the sound will be cleaned up, bringing 1987 into 2022 with a sonic spring clean which an album which will be housed in a 425g heavy cardboard cover that will come with a four-page insert, a sheet of lyrics, a poster and an A5 photo card. As with all vinyl reissues these days, ‘Forward to Termination’ will come not only as a bog standard black vinyl but will also be available as a swamp green with a black and white splatter as well as a doublemint green vinyl and finally a red/doublemint bi-colour vinyl which will be exclusive to High Roller Records as a mail order exclusive.

As with most vinyl pressings in the modern era, ‘Forward to Termination’ will be limited-edition, so that once it’s gone, its gone. Therefore, if Sacrifice and vinyl are your thing, you better get your itchy trigger fingers clicking because cult thrash metal like this really does not last long.
