Questions on the Go | Chaoseum

We got to ask Chaoseum a few questions on the go.

Welcome to Metal Digest!

Please describe the band in a single sentence.

Steamroller

What’s your latest project and what are you working on right now?

– We have just finished and released our latest album “The Third Eye”. We are         currently working on our next tour which will take place in 2023

How do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?

I would say nostalgic. We’re trying to revive Nu Metal and I hope people feel that way.

Major influences: Who put you on this path?

–  Our influences are diverse. I think we like to mix all the styles we have listened to in our lives. It varies between Nu Metal, Metalcore, Heavy Metal, electro, etc… We also like to take inspiration from bands like Queen or even Michael Jackson.

If you had to flee the country as a band, where would you choose to live?

In USA..

What’s the ‘wow factor’ that makes YOU decide which songs to keep, record and release?

– This is very difficult to explain. But I would say that I feel a sensation that tells me if it is good or not… A kind of 6th sense

What’s the most hilarious band memory you can think of?

At a concert in Switzerland, we had so many smoke machines that you couldn’t see anything. I couldn’t even see CK who was right next to me.

What would be the title of the band’s biography?

Hungry mans

What’s the next milestone you’d like to achieve as a band?

To be able to tour summer festivals… Such as Hellfest, Graspop, Wacken, etc…

Thank you for the interview.

Loïc

Until we meet again,

Chelf
