There are those bands which have managed to chameleon their way throughout their career with a seemingly Midas Touch to their every approach. One band are Therion and this year has Napalm Records reissuing a collection of albums on vinyl with many considering these releases to be Therion at their very peak.

One of these albums is 2007’s ‘Gothic Kabbalah’ with not only Napalm Records reissuing this release on vinyl, but also allowing those who love their medium to be vinyl then what they’ll get here with this reissue of ‘Gothic Kabbalah’ is a limited edition gatefold sleeve that will be available as either a gold or orange/black marbled vinyl which will be only be available exclusively from the Napalm Records store. However, there aren’t any extras released here, so a vinyl reissue is all that you are getting, therefore unless your copy is worn out, damaged or even lost or if you don’t own it already on vinyl, the purchaser must ask themselves, do they really need it?

This does mean that these Napalm Records reissues are probably aimed at those who currently do not own a copy and/or those zealous fans of Therion who simply must have everything, then this’ll be a great addition, if not, c’est la vie and although there’s no extras, this is still a great stand-alone album.

"part of a good run of exclusive Therion vinyl reissues on Napalm Records"
