Everlust: Romantic dreamer rockers making music they love

We got to ask Everlust a few questions on the go!

All answers by the band founder, leader and main song writer Vlad.

Welcome to Metal Digest!

Please describe the band in a single sentence.

Romantic dreamer rockers making music they love.

What’s your latest project and what are you working on right now?

Our latest project was EP released this year via WormholeDeath –  “The Tale of the Noble Knight”.

Right now we are adapting our repertoire to our new female vocalist as well as improving our stage image and technical equipment. Of course we are also working on new songs!

How do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?

It is usually a good sign if music can touch and resonate with the hearts of the listeners. Most of the times writing a music helps to overcome some life difficulties. If listening to it also helps – it’s brilliant.

Major influences: Who put you on this path?

Lacuna Coil, Paradise Lost, Anathema, Therapy?, Draconian, HIM, Theatre of Tragedy, Sentenced, Nightwish, Sirenia and many more.

If you had to flee the country as a band, where would you choose to live?

I would prefer not to think about the causes of fleeing the country as a band especially when there is low possibility of every band member moving the same direction. But if we had to, it probably would be a contry with a developed metal music industry like Germany, Great Britain, Finland, USA. Or maybe Italy, where our label is located.

What’s the ‘wow factor’ that makes YOU decide which songs to keep, record and release?

Usually if I write a song I already love it and want to record it. If I don’t love it – I do not work on it.

What’s the most hilarious band memory you can think of?

There is always something hilarious happening when we travel together somewhere. The most hilarious was indeed our travel to Italy to record an album. We happened to go there during one of the heaviest covid restrictions at the end of 2020, but it definitely was worth it.

What would be the title of the band’s biography?

Hmm… maybe “Diary of the sinners”

What’s the next milestone you’d like to achieve as a band?

New album, tour, festival appearance. Warming up any of our inspiring acts.

Until we meet again,

Chelf
