Dame Tu Alma | Questions on the Go

We got to ask Dame tu Alma a few questions on the go…

Welcome to Metal Digest!

Please describe the band in a single sentence.

An unholy trinity dragging you through a sonic apocalypse

What’s your latest project and what are you working on right now?

Our latest spawn is an album called Lead which consist of 12 tracks, it was released on April and we are excited to death for all you freaks to go check it out.

Currently we are working on bringing our German fans a true horror show in our upcoming tour joining Stahlmann across their home country and also working hard on our follow up album.

How do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?

Like they are witnessing the apocalypse and they’re taking part in it.

Major influences: Who put you on this path?

Eiko Ishioka, Tim Burton, Patrick Süskind, David Lynch, Edgar Allan Poe, Wayne Barlowe, Dalí, Danny Elfman, Peter Steele and Satan not in that specific order.

If you had to flee the country as a band, where would you choose to live?

We’d certainly go to the Caribbean and finish morphing into real pirates while drinking a mega pint of Rum hahahaha

What’s the ‘wow factor’ that makes YOU decide which songs to keep, record and release?

We stop working in anything that we are not 666% into with our blood, sweat and tears. In that sense it’s pretty easy to decide because all the other songs just don’t get made

What’s the most hilarious band memory you can think of?

That has to be somewhere between: Vulture and Sypher dancing on stage to George Michael’s “Careless Whisper” in our last concert and Witnessing Vidame’s morning Yoga sessions.

What would be the title of the band’s biography?

The desert eagle gag reflex

What’s the next milestone you’d like to achieve as a band?

To give birth to an alternate visual and sonic fantasy world that our audience can escape to.

Until we meet again,
