Answers by Andreas Jabrell, vocals and rhythm guitar in Astro-Lloyd

Please describe the band in a single sentence.

Alternative energetic rock from outer space!

What’s your latest project and what are you working on right now?

We just released our third single ‘FOMO’ from upcoming album ‘Loud Noises’, planned release in June

How do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?

Energetic, happy, hopeful, excited. Blown away!

Major influences: Who put you on this path?

Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro and The Hives

If you had to flee the country as a band, where would you choose to live?

Denmark, great music venues and close to home if there’s a chance to come back.

What’s the ‘wow factor’ that makes YOU decide which songs to keep, record and release?

It’s just a feeling, when it feels right it just clicks. And the most important part in Astro-Lloyd is that we all feel it. Some songs just got it right away, done in five minutes, others you have to work on!

What’s the most hilarious band memory you can think of?

Locals/regulars at smaller pubs trying to talk to you in the middle of a song, saying things like play that again or, good job drummer. We could not hear it from the stage but managed to film it…

What would be the title of the band’s biography?

Why did it take so long? The Astro-Lloyd story

What’s the next milestone you’d like to achieve as a band?

We’re about to release our second album, a lot of things we would like to achieve. But in the near future, just get out and play our music live to as many people as possible.

Until we meet again,
