This morning in the Metal Digest office, we’re kicking off the day with a vengeance by blasting out ‘Revenge’, the 1992 album from Kiss. With this album Kiss went much heavier than its melodic predecessor and it paid dividends as many Kiss fans regard ‘Revenge’ as one of their favourite non-make up albums. Furthermore, ‘Revenge’ happens to be bittersweet, as loved as the album is, it served as a final farewell to Eric Carr, the real God of Thunder who sadly passed away in 1992 appearing at the end of the album on the ‘Carr Jam 1981’. Moreover, ‘Revenge’ is best remembered as the album which gave the world Kiss’ version of the Argent song ‘God Gave Rock ‘n’ Roll to You II’ best known for its appearance in the movie ‘Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey’. So this morning crank it up loud because thou shalt not listen to ‘Revenge’ quietly!
