This afternoon in the Metal Digest office, we’re blasting out ‘Witch Hunter’, the 1985 sophomore album from German legends Grave Digger. At the start of their career, Grave Digger’s sound may have been a far cry form the warring legends they became, but ‘Witch Hunter’ showed that the German’s were in no way less savvy. This was a sound based on Teutonic speed metal and it tore through the world, dragging out witches and burning them en masse in a way that Matthew Hopkins never could. So this afternoon, dig out your copy of ‘Witch Hunter’ and crank up the volume on a real beast and get your neighbourhood ready for some real power!
Come on in!
