Questions on the Go | The KillerHertz

We got to ask The KillerHertz a few questions on the go.

  • Please describe the band in a single sentence.

As Rock Lifestyle describe us: “The KillerHertz is like Volbeat had a baby with Megadeth”

  • What’s your latest project and what are you working on right now?

We are working on music videos for the future releases and finishing the last designs on our “STARBURST” album cover – at the same time we are doing radio programs, interviews and promoting for our future album.
We have a new single out called “The Wait for Closure”, which came out the 1st of April – and there will probably be three or four single releases, before releasing our new album “STARBURST” later this year. So be sure to check out our site on Facebook and YouTube channel for more – We can assure you, that there will be plenty to be looking forward to in the near future.

  • How do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?

Hopefully every aspect of emotions, depending on which song you listen to – But mostly joyfulness, and not being able to sit still while listening to our songs

  • Major influences: Who put you on this path?

There´s tons of bands and artists, but mostly classic bands and artists from the 70´s, 80´s and 90´s, such as Megadeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Merciful Fate etc. – and the era of that time has had a significant influence on all of us, some of the best albums are made in that period.

  • If you had to flee the country as a band, where would you choose to live?

Some place warm perhaps, Thomas have just been to Cap Verde, so that could be a great place for the band, but the problem is Kent hates sand…

  • What’s the ‘wow factor’ that makes YOU decide which songs to keep, record and release?

The arrangements, the energy and dynamics to the songs is very important, but its more complex than so…. We have recorded songs and skipped it afterwards, because it lost its “wow factor” during the recordings – or because it simply wasn’t good enough. And on our upcoming album “STARBURST” we have two songs on, that we weren’t sure was good enough, but after we recorded them, and added the keys it completely blew our minds – those songs are among our favorites now…

  • What’s the most hilarious band memory you can think of?

There are tons of hilarious moments from our rehearsals, when making videos, and when we are on the road, but most memorable would be like when Kent KillerHertz slept for three hours on the toilet after a gig, we thought he went home, but he later woke up to an empty bar and had to take a cap home Ha-ha – Or the time Thomas Trold almost choked himself in the tour bus, because he took a plastic bag over head while we were on the road to the next gig…that was a funny moment ha-ha.
And if you watch our music video “Innocent Sinners” and “Kom Tilbage nu” on YouTube, you will get a good look into what the bands is like…We are more hilarious than serious…hahaha

  • What would be the title of the band’s biography?

Kill all Silence – The story of The KillerHertz

  • What’s the next milestone you’d like to achieve as a band?

The next milestone is to play some bigger venues, like festivals and playing in as many foreign lands as possible

Until we meet again,

Chelf
