TWIN VOID: 3 punks writing stoner rock

Welcome to Metal Digest!

Please describe the band in a single sentence.

Heavy Rock n’ Roll that rip through peaks and valleys and has monstrous riffs.

What’s your latest project and what are you working on right now?

We have “Free From Hardtimes” about to release April 1st but we have some new music in the works.

How do you want people to feel when they listen to your music?

Well, I think when writing these songs and lyrics I write about a lot of real-life experiences and events that have happened to me so when people listen to these songs, I want them to feel the emotion and feeling that I feel when writing.

Major influences: Who put you on this path?

I think the biggest influences that have been in my life have been my dad, he showed me bands like minor threat, slayer and black sabbath and he bought me my first instrument, so he definitely put me on the right path.

If you had to flee the country as a band, where would you choose to live?

Probably Canada, I feel like they’re kind of like the US and they’re the closest to us.

What’s the ‘wow factor’ that makes YOU decide which songs to keep, record and release?

To me if I write a riff or if I work on a song if I put down my guitar and that riff and or song is stuck in my head I know it’s a winner because I know it’ll get stuck in other people’s head.

What’s the most hilarious band memory you can think of?

The one that comes to mind is when we were in New Mexico somewhere, we got so stoned outside we left our hotel and forgot our key card and I just remember me and the drummer Cory laughing so much in the hallway, can’t remember what we were talking about, but it was very funny haha

What would be the title of the band’s biography?

“3 punks writing stoner rock”

What has it been like working with the world-famous Damon of Inner Light Management?

It’s been fantastic! He and my dad have been friends for years so it’s been great to grow up with someone like that and ask him questions, he’s showed me so many tips and tricks in the industry and I will be forever grateful for him.

What’s the next milestone you’d like to achieve as a band?

For me when we played the Judas Priest Festival in Florida that inspired us so much just with playing in front of so many people and being around so many people I grew up listening to I want to keep trying the biggest festivals I can.

Until we meet again,

Chelf
