In melodic rock circles, Robbie LeBlanc is a particularly well-known name, known for his work with both Fury and Blanc Fury and more recently Find Me with the band stepping forward once more to release their fourth studio album ‘Lightning in a Bottle’.
For fans of Find Me, ‘Lightning in a Bottle’ is everything that they could ever want. This is LeBlanc and Daniel Flores doing what they do best with an excellently produced album. The production here really shows just how beautiful melodic rock can be as its dynamically soars through peaks and troughs allowing every AOR anthem here to shine all aided through the work of Alessandro Del Vecchio who has proved time and time again that he is the go-to man when it comes to making music of this nature. However, the plaudits here do not go to Del Vecchio alone, there is some fantastic musicianship from Flores who demonstrates that he is the master of his craft whilst the voice of LeBlanc is impeccable with tracks such as ‘Diana’, ‘Far From Over’ and ‘On the Run’ having all the enjoyability Robledo, Lionville and W.E.T. with even a touch of late 80’s Magnum.
‘Lightning in a Bottle’ is another great AOR/melodic rock album from Find Me. It is professionally delivered with fantastic sing-along tracks; it doesn’t do anything ‘out-there’ nor does it need to and that is exactly where the love for this album is.
