This afternoon in the Metal Digest office, we’re blasting out ‘Metal Heart’, 1985 classic from Accept. For many, this was the last great Accept album and for others it was the last great Accept album until their triumphant return with ‘Blood of the Nations’ in 2010 with Mark Tornillo. Although ‘Metal Heart’ continued to push into the American market, guitarist Wolf Hoffmann was not afraid to show his technical side with nods to Beethoven and Tchaikovsky with tracks such as ‘Midnight Mover’, ‘Screaming for a Love Bite’ and the title track remaining fan favourites to this very day. So this afternoon, take your volume button up to the limit and crank up this superb album.
Come on in!
