What’s something an outsider wouldn’t know about your band?
Our music is serious but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
What’s the career highlight you’re most proud of?
There have been a lot of highlights this year alone! From being featured on Knotfest’s Twitch Stream, streaming our album on Decibel, and getting affirmation from friends and fans from the past, it’s been a humbling year.
Lyrics that stuck with you?
From our album? “Common branches with uncommon reach.” This to me has a meaning akin to Galadriel’s famed statement, “Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.”
What’s the phone app you use most?
Instagram, probably.
What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
Leisure? Hardly know her!
Are you more of a “play music to live” or a “live to play music” type of person?
Live to play music!
How would your 10-year-old self-react to what you do now?
She’d be a little confused but definitely stoked!
What career advice would you give to young musicians in the rock and metal industry?
Find your “Why” and hold onto it tight!
If you could do it all over again, would you pursue the same career in music?
I think I would have done some things slightly differently, like focusing on piano more as a kid.
