It’s time to select your most epic beverage, grab your headphones, and get lost in Whyzdom’s new album, ‘Of Wonders and Wars’.

This album is everything you would expect from Whyzdom, with its powerful epic riffs, and powerful symphonic vocals. From the very start of the album, with their track ‘Wanderers and Dreamers’, the energy is palpable. The strong, heavy riffs, challenging you to bang your head, with the soft breaks that just make you close your eyes and drift into another world as they tell you tales to lose yourself into. One of my personal favourites on the album must be ‘Stonehenge’, with its epic orchestral opening that makes you feel like you’re about to embark on a quest, and then kicking into the main section with more metal than my teeth. The album continues to offer track after track of ‘lose yourself’ metal, with story after story like ‘Notre Dame’, a tale of a non-believer’s disbelief and pain to see one of religions greatest structures burning down.

As a whole, this album is something that fans and newcomers can sink their teeth into, drift away into the melodies and symphonies, and find something to love.
